About Azonto Foods
Azonto Foods is a fast-growing West African food brand bringing bold, authentic Ghanaian flavours to modern tables. Known for our chilli sauces and community-led brand energy, we are building a category-defining business rooted in flavour, culture and consistency.
We are looking for a Food Production Assistant to support our production days and help keep kitchen operations running smoothly as we scale.
The Role
This is a practical, hands-on role for someone reliable, proactive and willing to learn. You will support the production team with food prep, bottling, filling, sealing, labelling and packing, while helping maintain a clean and efficient working environment.
You do not need to know everything from day one. Training will be provided. What matters most is that you have a strong work ethic, pay attention to detail, and are happy to get stuck in.
Key Responsibilities
Help prepare ingredients and equipment before production runs
Support bottling, filling, sealing and labelling of products
Assist with packing finished products into boxes for storage or dispatch
Wash and sanitise jars, utensils and work areas
Help keep the kitchen and production area clean, organised and efficient
Support stock counting and organisation of jars, lids, labels and ingredients
Assist with quality checks on finished products
Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times
Help with general production tasks as needed on the day

Comfortable working in a kitchen or food production environment
A love for Azonto Foods, Ghana Style Chilli Sauce (Shito), or a strong interest in food production, FMCG, and operations, is a plus
Food hygiene knowledge is helpful, but not essential, as training will be provided
