About Azonto Foods

Azonto Foods is a fast-growing West African food brand bringing bold, authentic Ghanaian flavours to modern tables. Known for our chilli sauces and community-led brand energy, we are building a category-defining business rooted in flavour, culture and consistency.

We are looking for a Food Production Assistant to support our production days and help keep kitchen operations running smoothly as we scale.

The Role

This is a practical, hands-on role for someone reliable, proactive and willing to learn. You will support the production team with food prep, bottling, filling, sealing, labelling and packing, while helping maintain a clean and efficient working environment.

You do not need to know everything from day one. Training will be provided. What matters most is that you have a strong work ethic, pay attention to detail, and are happy to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities

• Help prepare ingredients and equipment before production runs
• Support bottling, filling, sealing and labelling of products
• Assist with packing finished products into boxes for storage or dispatch
• Wash and sanitise jars, utensils and work areas
• Help keep the kitchen and production area clean, organised and efficient
• Support stock counting and organisation of jars, lids, labels and ingredients
• Assist with quality checks on finished products
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times
• Help with general production tasks as needed on the day

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a kitchen or food production environment
• A love for Azonto Foods, Ghana Style Chilli Sauce (Shito), or a strong interest in food production, FMCG, and operations, is a plus
• Food hygiene knowledge is helpful, but not essential, as training will be provided
